The User Services below are available to all Library Users.

Printing & Copies:

There are multiple copy machines and a printer in the Reference area.

*We do not offer color printing*

 

Scanning:

Scanning is free and may be done on the copy machines in the Reference area. See the Reference desk for assistance.

Hardware

There are three clusters of computers in the Library:

  • 2 PCs in the Library Common area
  • 5 PCs in the Reference area
  • 8 Laptops for checkout

These computers are equipped with:

  • Internet connection
  • USB ports
  • Headphone jack

Headphones and phone/laptop chargers are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

A microfilm/microfiche reader is located on the second floor.

Software

Computers on the first floor of the Library are equipped with:

  • MS Windows
  • MS Office
  • Windows Media Player
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader

 

Study Rooms:

The Library has three group study rooms available for students - the large room on the lower second floor (#205) can fit 4-6 people, the small room on the upper second floor (#210) can fit 4 people, and the large room on the third floor (#304) can fit 4-6 people. The Library also has four single-user study rooms available for students - room #208 (lower second floor) and rooms #217, #218, and #219 (upper second floor).

Study Rooms can be reserved in whole-hour blocks for up to four hours at a time, no less than one hour out from the current time. Students can reserve up to one week in advance. Public Guests may make same day reservations at the Circulation desk. If there are no reservations, study rooms may be used on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserve a Study Room.

Please do not leave personal belongings in the study rooms outside of assigned bookings. Anything left in the study room will be placed at the Circulation Desk.

 

Study Carrels:

Semi-private study carrels on the third floor may be assigned to Doctoral level students upon application and approval.

Carrels are assigned based on degree program, need, and use.
