Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00AM - 4:00 PM

The Library at Southeastern is closed for chapel from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays when classes are in session during the Fall and Spring Semesters.

Introduction

Welcome to the Research Guide for Archives Reference at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS). This Guide will introduce you to the policies and procedures that govern the Archives Reference Desk. Please take some time to learn more about us to equip you to assist patrons in the Archives & Special Collections Research room. 

Mission Statement

Archives and Special Collections in the Library at Southeastern exists to procure, preserve, and promote access to rare books, personal papers, institutional records, Baptist materials and church records, and other unique sources of enduring historical value that can be used to better equip Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary students, faculty, and the broader research community to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission.
