When answering the Archives reference phone, use the following greeting:
"Archives and Special Collections, this is [insert name]. How may I help you?"
If a patron or other caller needs you to transfer them to another extension, use the following steps to transfer a call:
With the phone still off the hook, press the "Transfer" button.
Dial the extension of the person or department to whom you wish to transfer the call.
Hang up.
