Abstract: This collection contains one box of material related to James Bryant and his time as a trustee at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Biographical Note: James Bryant (1936-2014) was a Southern Baptist pastor and teacher who was a served on several trustee boards during the Conservative Resurgence of the Southern Baptist Convention. He was a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and served as a pastor in Texas, Arkansas, and New Mexico. From 2004 until his death, he served as Professor of Pastoral Theology at Criswell College.

Scope and Contents: The material in this collection includes notes from trustee meetings at both Southwestern Seminary and Southeastern Seminary as well as the trustees’ response to the ATS Report made in 1988.
